What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
