TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
